“I am a visual artist who works in different mediums but primarily painting and sculpture.
My paintings are mixes of abstract, cubism, neo-expressionism, and portraiture.
While my sculptures are contemporary modernistic abstract forms that are often fused with African symbology.
Much of my work has pop culture and political themes. As I feel both are expressions of my being.
For me Art is about building bridges between people, cultures, classes, religions and ideologies.
The act of creation is the act of connection, while simultaneously being an act of defiance.
Not speaking but screaming to the powers that be, “here I am and here I remain.”
